Pie Festival 2017 is Saturday, September 9!
The 2017 Pie Festival Logo competition wrapped up in May with a winner being chosen from fifteen fabulous entries. Entries were voted upon by those working on the 2017 Pie Festival, and the winner was our own Sam Palahnuk, who put his design talents to work for Pie Town. The winning entry earned $100.

Pie Festival is held every year in September in Pie Town, NM, USA–come for the pie and stay for the stars!
Pie Town is a small historic town balanced on the Continental Divide in southwest New Mexico, USA. Its unique name hints to its humble beginnings back in the days of the old-west as a pie-serving rest stop for cowboys, later to become a destination for dust bowl refugees, then booming yet again as a prosperous agricultural center.
The Pie Festival began as a way of getting together to can the summer fruits–and eat pie. It is now a festival of fun with pie baking contests, pie eating contests, games, live music, pies for sale, Horny Toad races and much more, including the crowing of our Pie Queen and King.
All our pies are made by hand the old fashioned way–we still believe pie needs love and care to be really tasty and light.
Pie Festival is put on by Pie Town Rising Stars, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving Pie Town’s past and ensuring Pie Town’s future. All funds from the festival go toward preserving Pie Town and to new projects, such as outfitting a new community center, and buying new playground equipment.
